As a valued WebAssist community member, we wanted to let you know of an important change to our upcoming product line. To better serve your needs and expand the depth of our offerings, WebAssist will be focusing efforts on the PHP platform exclusively and will cease to support classic ASP and ColdFusion.

Dreamweaver is 10 years old, and what a decade it’s been. When version 1.0 was released in November 1997, the challenge was to provide a better visual experience for web designers regardless of how they coded their pages. DHTML was the buzzword at the time, and by 2000 everyone was expected to be coding interactive HTML experiences with JavaScript. And CSS, having recently been implemented in Internet Explorer 4.0, was the new emerging paradigm for visual design.

onOne Software has released a new software plug-in for Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements - FocalPoint 1.0. onOne Software’s FocalPoint is a selective focus and vignetting plug-in designed to help photographers easily blur and/or vignette areas of an image.

Adobe has delayed an update that will add support for Flickr users to its Photoshop Express. The service, currently at the Beta stage, allows images to be stored or pulled from the users’ other websites and edited without over-writing the original.
